Rep. Tammy Baldwin’s Healthcare Message for Queers … Doesn’t Mention AIDS

In a last ditch effort to get someone, anyone to seriously care about Obamacare (sorry, health care reform), Rep. Tammy Baldwin sends out this message about how LGBTs are getting majorly shafted by the current system. But in a three-and-a-half minute speech, she doesn’t mention HIV/AIDS once, giving queers something to bitch about!

This site should be banned from all political reporting until you hire someone who actually knows what they are talking about. The level of knowledge has continued to deteriorate over the past two years or so. Your coverage is atrocious, which is a shame, because an entertainment/lifestyle site like this has an opportunity to inform people in small doses who might otherwise not read a lot of “hard news.”

It’s great that Queerty noted Rep. Baldwin’s cowardice and ineptitude — I actually said the exact same thing in the link below

http://www.transracial.net/200.....e-message/

Baldwin is a stunning example of everything wrong with our current GLBT leadership — insular, impotent and completely indifferent to the real issues facing “her” community.

Pardon the cliche, but with friends like Baldwin….

Wait, how many jobs have I worked at where AIDS was specifically excluded from insurance? Oh yeah, all of them!
