Shep Smith & Fox News: 3 More Years! 3 More Years!

Bear enthusiast Shep Smith, the veteran face of Fox News “unbiased” brand of journalism, reupped his contract for three years he announced yesterday on The View, keeping him on the air until at least 2013. And Fox News head Roger Ailes, in announcing Shep’s new deal, makes note of the anchor’s “signature style.” Ahem. Now let’s revisit one of Shep’s more memorable moments:

Why couldn’t CNN or MSNBC have picked him up instead? He’s far too rational for Fox News. Besides Shep, Bill O is the most rational on there nowadays… seriously. How is that even possible?

I’m not sure why Fox News always gets tarred with the bias brush, when MSNBC and CNN are equally biased (just not in the same direction).

@Baxter: Oh Jeebus, how dense can you GET?

MSNBC and CNN are only “biased” if you think “biased” means “presenting truth and facts as they actually ARE, not the way Roger Ailes and Rupert Murdoch want dumbass crackers in the Deep South and flyover country to think they are”.

FOX is “biased” in the sense of “spinning and distorting any story to reflect an insane right-wing fundamentalist Christianist viewpoint”.

Now that you’re clear on the difference: THAT’S why FOX gets tarred with the “bias” brush.

Stupid fucking Log Cabin Republican quislings make me sick.

@Bareback Cuntessa: OK, I get it now. Everything you agree with is a fact and everything you disagree with is a lie. Cool. Glad that’s been cleared up.

Excellent use of a racial slur, by the way. Good to see that political correctness also only swings one way.

It’s just so amusing seeing gays on Queerty defend a “news” network like Fox.
