British gay magazine Attitude recently teamed up with non-profit Stonewall to fight homophobic bullying in schools.

In honor of the occasion, Attitude EIC Matthew Todd spoke to Pink News about the need for such activism. And, not surprisingly, it's not the most uplifting exchange:

I don’t think you can not feel moved and furious when you read accounts of the deaths of kids like Jonathan Reynolds, who was 15 and died by lying on a track in front of a train after he was bullied for being gay.

If you are being bullied for being overweight or because of your ethnicity then you can go to a teacher or your parents, who will hopefully condemn the bullying and try and give you some affirmation.

If you are gay it’s often hard to tell anyone and at worst, you will hear teachers themselves being homophobic. It enrages me.

And so it should.

Sorry, Out, HX and Next, but British fag rag Attitude's playful swimsuit spread beats you all hands down. There's nothing more attractive than a sense of humor - and blow-up saxophones!

• Scientologist John Travolta had a few words for gays protesting his cross-dressing, John Waters-endorsed appearance in Hairspray.

There is nothing gay in this movie. I'm not playing a gay man. Scientology is not homophobic in any way, in fact it's one of the more tolerant faiths. Anyone's accepted.

As long as they assimilate to pre-determined Scientological "lifestyles" and sacrifice their rational thought, brain and soul.

• Gay for pay porn star Marc Dalton continues to make his parents proud: a domestic dispute violated his probation and landed him back in jail. And he'll probably be there for the foreseeable future.

• Did Kate Moss leave Pete Doherty because he cheated? If his junk problem didn't come between them, we're sure they can reconcile a moment of sluttiness..

Finally, the dramatic conclusion to the ongoing attitude mystery! As you may recall, the popular British fag-rag went missing about a month ago, leading many (including ourselves) to question whether or not we'd ever get another glimpse at its glossy gay pages.

Repeated emails to editor Adam Mattera not only went unanswered, but were returned with a delivery failure. Meanwhile, publisher Remnant Media's offices were shuttered, adding further fuel to the speculative fire. Well, now we hear that the magazine's no longer being published by Remnant, but by Giant Clipper Limited, which insists it will reimburse subscribers for the issue lapse.

The company's managing director, Simon McKay told Pink News UK:

I'm delighted to have acquired the title and am looking forward to working with Adam, advertising director Andy Goddard and the team to take the magazine to even greater heights.

We have lots of exciting plans for attitude print and on-line that will be revealed over the coming months.

While we haven't got the details on the coming months, we do know that McFly will be on the cover of the February Issue, which will be hitting shelves shortly.

So, you can call off the search parties, quit your weeping and get on with your lives - if that's what you want to call it…

The attitude mystery continues to consume us. You may recall the popular British fag-rag went missing at the dawn of the new year, leading many to assume it had unceremoniously folded. One distributor rebuffed the rumors, insisting they had heard it would be a wee-bit late. Unfortunately, their explanations did nothing to address the fact that the website and email addresses had all been disabled.

Doing a little follow-up, we headed over to the mag's MySpace page, which proudly proclaims:

The best gay magazine in the world! We're back, back, back baby. With a bang! The February issue features a naked McFly, a pissed off Diana Ross and a world exclusive as Kele Okereke of Bloc Party discusses his sexuality. Plus boys, boys, boys.

The note, coupled with the alleged cover for their alleged February issue leads one to believe that rumors of the mag's premature death were unwarranted.

We're still perplexed, however, as to why the website's still down and, more importantly, why our emails to editor Adam Mattera keep coming back with the ominous note that delivery "failed permanently"?

Regardless, we're keeping our fingers crossed on this one. Until we get the answers we want, we'll have to make do with the McFly pictures we ganked from the aforementioned MySpace page and posted after the jump.

We were tooling around Parisian Boys yesterday and came across their post lauding the forthcoming "Porn Issue" of Brit Fag-Rag Attitude.

Needless to say, we got a little excited. Head on over to Parisian Boys for some preview shots!

(Note: The site's a rough Google translation, so it's a bit disjointed.)
