Gay groups should not be pushing for legalized prostitution. Let me be clear: I think that prostitution should be legalized. But it’s not really a “gay” issue except inasmuch as it’s a human issue and gay people are humans. If you want to push it, that’s fine and all, but do it on your own time or form another advocacy group to tackle that issue. It is disingenuous and wrong to imply that you speak for gay people on this issue, or even that gay people, as a group, have an opinion.
