    @Bob: I also find her very sad looking. She just looks so imhuman and unhealthy– though i know someone who knows someone who knows her, who swears that she is the nicest person on the planet.

    Wrong post to spew that comment. It’s hilarious that you would make a comment about the surface mattering, since Amanda LePore has always been very up front about the thousands and thousands of dollars spend and the multiple oporations to get her to look like a human version of Jessica Rabbit. To scream about people only caring about the surface when discussing somebody who is famous for exactly that reason…well come on.

    @anonymouse: Schitzophrenic much? “who cares what she looks like” “she’s beautiful”. She is ESSENTIALLY about the surface. Surgicaly crafted at amplified proportion. This series of shots is even more specificaly about the surface, imitating other famous surfaces. I’m sure she’s a lovely human being, but you can do that on the radio, or as a kindergarten teacher. Her modified appearance is easy to catagorize as bizarre. She is shocking and unnatural. I’m pretty sure she is aware that most people are uncomfortable with it.

    It just looks physically uncomfortable and unhealthy. A weird mix of emaciated and voluptuous. Check out those tiny skinny arms. Reminds me of when my grandmother was dying. But, like I said earlier– I do understand her to be a wonderful person, and God knows she struts it out there for every gay cause on the planet.
