Saverio Pescucci describes himself as a “super chill, friendly, gay [and] Covid responsible” ballet dancer. Last week, he published a thirsty apartment search ad that quickly went viral.
Pescucci posted in Gypsy Housing, a private Facebook group with roughly 285,000 members, saying he was seeking for a room to rent either in Brooklyn or downtown Manhattan. He also included a few photos of himself.
“I saw a lot of people … were posting pictures of themselves, like selfies and casual photos, to show that they’re not sociopaths or what kind of lifestyle they have,” Pescucci tells The New York Post. “I did the same [but] I was not imagining that it would turn into an episode of ‘The Bachelor.’”
Before he knew it, his post had over 600 likes and 400 comments. Unfortunately, most of them had absolutely nothing to do with his housing situation.

“[The] hot ones are never straight,” one woman wrote.
“You’re cute,” another added. “That’s all I have to offer you. A compliment.”
“You won’t be paying rent for too long once you get here,” a man commented. “[You’re] f*cking hot.”
“I don’t have a room,” another guy said, “but I have space in my heart.”
The 29-year-old dancer insists that he never intended to post a thirst trap and that he really was just trying to introduce himself to the group in hopes of landing a new roommate.
“I was not uncomfortable [with the comments], I just was really overwhelmed,” he says. “It was like, like, like, comment, comment, DM, DM. It was just a lot.”
“Life is unpredictable and you never know,” Pescucci continues. “Maybe my future husband will be one of the commenters on this post.”

He is the hairiest ballet dancer I have ever seen. Most male ballet dancers shave off their body hair — even the underarms — because it is considered distracting, Some ballet instructors even require their non-performing students to shave their bodies. I wonder if he’s that hairy when he performs.

I might actually contact him with a serious offer. I have a 3 bedroom downtown Manhattan (Soho) apt with 2 empty bedrooms. And since I don’t find him attractive in the least there will be no sexual tension (because he likely won’t find me attractive either). Even if I was gay, he’s definitely not my type (not twinky or nerdy enough …heh). Disgraced ballet dancer, Chase Finlay, is more up my alley. Regardless, I’ve always wanted someone in the arts as a roommate. My girlfriend had a roommate who played in the NY Philharmonic so we used to get free tickets and other perks all the time. Talk about friends with benefits. Only question is whether he minds living with someone straight (but with a gay sensibility). Stay tuned!

Great idea! If I were him, I would prefer living with someone like you as opposed to someone with other motives. Actually, based upon what one can dig up on the internet he appears to be just a normal nice looking gay man (who is extremely flexible).

No clue concerning RyanMBecker’s lifestyle or where he fits in the gender, romantic, sexual, affection, emotional investment, commitment spectrum. But I will say that if he’s “straight” he is a bit too opinionated for my tastes when it comes to “queer politics”. A decent amount of his posts have been focused on telling “gays” what to think. At the very least, he comes off like one of those problematic and too meddling “allies”.

Nowhere in the article is it implied that any of those photos were the ones posted on the Facebook group. And in fact the only one in a balletic pose is the Palm Springs sunset pool Grand Jete (which shows how well they train at La Scala because his hands, feet and position are NICE). The rest of the photos, which you can see on the Post article, are pretty tame.

What drew me to this article was his face. I was asking myself “Is that really a ballet dancer?” Just wouldn’t have come to mind if he hadn’t declared himself such. I have a thing for furry men!!!
