Australia’s legendary drag queen Dame Edna, who has been in the business for 60 years, is set to appear on tomorrow night’s episode of Celebrity Squares! Tune in Wednesday 17th September at 8pm GMT on ITV for this brand new series and to catch a glimpse of Dame Edna in action.
Celebrity Squares is based on the classic ‘Noughts and Crosses’ (which us Yankees call ‘Tic-Tac-Toe’) with a grid of nine boxes. Inside each box are celebrities who answer questions. The contestants have to say if they ‘agree’ or ‘disagree’ with the celebrity’s answer. If they are correct they win that square and if they win three boxes in a line – vertically, horizontally or diagonally – they win the round and money, before the winning contestant goes on to play the end game for the star prize.
Also joining the star-studded lineup is Emmerdale star Lucy Pargeter, comedian Patrick Monahan, Britain’s Got Talent’s Ashleigh and Pudsey, comedian Rufus Hound, Loose Women’s Carol Voderman and comedienne Roisin Conaty.
