Elton John, who will sing for the devil people for $1 million, is still a contender to take an American Idol seat so long as the money is right. Deadline won’t tell us just how much money Elton needs to annoy people on live television three times a week, but if he’s earning $1 million an hour to perform in front of 400 wedding guests, it must be quite a sum he wants to do it in front of 15 million viewers.
