Martin Gill, the gay Florida father who’s fighting with the state to keep his two adopted children, can keep his kids even if Gov. Charlie Crist successfully appeals a lower court’s ruling striking down the law. Department of Children and Families Secretary George Sheldon says Gill’s “children appear to be safe, well-adjusted” and DCF is “not in the business of” pulling kids out of healthy homes. So, uh, he admits gays can provide wonderful homes for parentless children? The horror!
