Well, this is alarming…
25-year-old Geoffrey Tracy is a personal trainer, competitive bodybuilder, and aspiring fitness model. This week, he admitted to stabbing 50-year-old roommate Gregory Kanczes 16 times after he says Kanczes “tried to make moves” on him, the NY Post reports.
The attack happened last month, shortly after Tracy moved to New York. He was staying at Kanczes’ apartment in Hell’s Kitchen after a gay strip club owner agreed to fly him out from California.
Tracy told police, “The guy tried to make moves on me. I told him no, then he said he’d shoot me so I had to defend myself. I had a knife to him, he went for the gun.”

Tracy also told police that Kanczes tried to prevent him from leaving the apartment by block the door. After the stabbing the man in the neck, chest, and shoulder, Tracy “took a vape of THC” then threw the knife in a dumpster.
Amazingly, Kanczes survived the assault.
Tracy’s attorney, Thomas Kenniff, says prior to the knife attack his client was also subjected to “unwanted touching” and “hellish surroundings.”
This week, Tracy rejected a plea deal of 20 years in prison and pleaded not guilty to second-degree attempted murder and first-degree assault this week.
He is currently free on $500,000 bond.

Your argument is bullshit and designed to create doubt where there is none. Where does it say “kidnapping” in the article? Or false imprisonment? How did Kanczes is able to block the door of the apartment during an argument and not be swat like a fly by this musclebound guy? His only true defense is that Kanczes reached out for a gun, but Tracy was able to find a knife more quickly? If Kanczes left the door area to reach out for the gun, Tracy can slip away. It doesn’t make ANY sense.
An aggravating issue is that Kanczes then got high after committing a murder. I would argue that the idiot got high was enraged with steroids and did a stupid thing. Then he is inventing a justification. You are right about rushing to judgement. I want to see the gun and the crime scene. Otherwise, I think circumstantially, Kanczes argument doesn’t hold water, and EJB… quoting statutes does not make it any more credible.

And one more thing – after reading this crud’s message below his arm-flex photo. In no way is what this guy is doing to his body about fitness and health. He is injecting himself with massive amounts of steroids. You can’t get freakish development like that no matter how much you workout without serious steroid use.
