Many Christian activists claim to love gays, but hate the gay sin. So, how do they prove it? Not through reparative therapy, that’s for damn sure! [Christian Post]

I didn’t know whether to laugh or cry when I read Dobson’s contention that Focus on the Family does not want to deny homosexuals basic constitutional rights. Like hell they don’t! These people have no compassion or heart. Ask them if they believe that someone partnered with a gay or lesbian for twenty years should have visitation rights at a hospital or more say than a possible hateful family if that partner dies. And this is “love”?

Well, yes, Kevin. ‘Dr.’ James Dobson is a L-I-A-R. How does that surprise you?
Understatement of the year: “For decades Christians have struggled over how to respond appropriately to homosexuals.”

Personally, I dunno what the whole “struggle” is. They act as if we’re marching into their homes to have forced, unprotected anal on their kitchen tables, in front of their kids (one in ten kids may learn something).
I think they waste so much thought and energy on hating, and I’m not even feeling particularly lovey-dovey to say that. They really do spend so much time refining ways to exclude, and not to accept, as their purported founder (the original one) would have wanted.
It’s why I say, “Focus on the Family: Use Sun, Giant Magnifying Glass.”
