The fantasy: You meet the man of your dreams, fall into everlasting love, and trust each other so implicitly that you remain free to explore feelings of desire and lust with a revolving cast of good-looking guys until death do you part.
The reality: Something extraordinarily messier.
In the vast canyon between these two scenarios exists a new web series, Michael And Michael Are Gay, that explores the lives and misadventures of “two sex-positive married misfits named Michael.”

How about we take this to the next level?
Our newsletter is like a refreshing cocktail (or mocktail) of LGBTQ+ entertainment and pop culture, served up with a side of eye-candy.
Playing the roles of Michael and Michael are Michael and Michael — Michael Feldman (The Neighbors, ABC) and Michael Rachlis (Tim and Eric’s Awesome Show, Great Job, Adult Swim) – real-life partners who got married just over two years ago.
The first episode is set for release on Feb. 26, and the Michaels are currently raising funds to complete a full season.
Check out the trailer, which features 2018 Queerties nominees Kit Williamson (Eastsiders) and Michael Henry (The Journey of Being Likeable) below:

I’ll never understand the obsession with promiscuity.

Yes, I often wish Queerty and other gay sites could focus on sharing positive stories of Gay Normalcy. That would do far more to help society relax and accept that homosexuality does not mean the end of the world. I know it is meant as satire, but if someone is on the fence about what it means to be gay this isn’t going to help, IMO.

I agree entirely.
All the drinking, drugging, and promiscuity deteriorates our quality-of-life and drains the soul.
It ends only when we are either dead or so devoid of a compass that we realize that sin does not make us complete, but merely hollows out our soul.
Boundaries, when properly set, are a positive force that keep us grounded and in the relationship of balance with the world around us. As long as we consume with reckless abandon, and forget to recharge our spirit, we will condemn ourselves to a life of misery and animalistic pleasure.

By nature, men are whores. It ain’t that complicated.

If you are fine to accept yourself as a natural slave to desire, unable to control your basest impulses, then I hope you enjoy that life.
Brian
If the alternative is your pearl clutching and bombastic, internet pseudo intellectualizing, then yeah, I’m good.

I can see that you’ve been waiting all day for a response.
Are you happy that your Daddy is home from a long day?
Brian
Seriously? That’s the best you can do? That is hilarious.

This. Looks. Hilarious. Can’t wait!
oaksong
This could be effective and amusing.

Did Dan Savage write this?

I’m too much of a neurotic jealous mess to live that way with my man (although I’ve given it some thought during certain dry spells) but this looks f’ing hilarious- and perhaps it will give us a reason to reconsider our current status- or one to feel further blessed to have the good thing we’ve got going together now. We’ll be watching!

I hate myself every time I click on Queerty’s incessant posts of him. I hate myself because eveytime I do it I have to wrestle with believing in stereotypes. Austin is a living, breathing example that winning the genetic lottery goes hand in hand with narcissism and a low I.Q.
Mr-DJ
Uh – no. Sad. Worst thing I’ve ever seen. Or is that the point?
