NOM Wants To Overturn The 63 Percent Of NYers Who Favor Marriage Equality

Not that we were worried that the National Organization for Marriage’s 4-year, $2 million dollar plan to overturn New York marriage equality was gonna work or anything. But this recent Marist poll shows, that if NOM wants voters to overturn the July 24th law, they’re gonna have to persuade the 55 percent of adults and registered NY voters who support marriage equality and the 63 percent who want to keep the law. Hee hee. Good luck, NOM! Money well wasted.

Where is Anonymous in all this? Why can’t it hack into NOM’s donor base and get the list of the big spenders and send old smelly drawer scumbag Srivastav into a hissy fit?

  • Chase

@Robert in NYC: Something about Anonymous not being your personal army, etc. In either case, you shouldn’t be encouraging anyone to break the law.

  • Pitou

@Chase: Fuck that & Fuck off! NOM breaks the law every. single. day. they continue to refuse to turn over donors lists to FEC requirements.

Anonymous would do well by doing so for NOM.

Just think of how much of NOM’s money could go to good causes, like famine relief in Africa. Instead, it goes to fighting equal rights. That’s Christian thrift for you.

  • Schlukitz

Waiting for NOM’s typical spin on the poll numbers that will make it look like New Yorkers actually want equal rights for LGBT people overturned. After all, they are masters at spinning data and facts. *tapping fingers on the table*

NOM will just say this is leftist propaganda promoted by the liberal biased media. Any poll that doesn’t agree with their deluded, hateful beliefs apparently is flawed.

@Schlukitz: Hey there!! I haven’t been hangin out in Queertyland since the beginning of the year. Prior to that I hadn’t seen your likes around here in over a year………I was wondering what happened to you, so glad that you are alive and well. And it seems our “old friend” ML hasn’t been infecting these threads for quite some time………..

MEMO TO MAGGOT GALLAGHER AND HER DISGUSING VILE ORGANIZATION: (we know you view these threads) You lost, BIG TIME. why can’t you accept that you and your vile followers are beating a dead horse??? The vast majority of Americans now accept Gays and our right to marry. We are not seeking any “special rights or privledges” simply the same rights every other American has enjoyed for generations. Our marriage to someone we love has absolutley no effect on you at all. Poll after poll shows that as the age of respondents decreases the accptance of Gay issues increases. We basically have to wait until you and the rest of the hatefilled disgusting vile reprehensive pigs out there who savor obsessing on spewing and tossing hatred upon the Gay community simply fuck off and die..(literaly)….

PS: It is high time that we began an investigation into the sources of the supposed two million dollars you have to spend on your wicked mission…………

Nice to see that you are also alive and well and back on these threads. It’s been awhile. :)

If their petition does succeed, make sure to get the vote out whenever that happens. The worst thing one can do here is not vote.

    NOM=National Organization of Morons

  • Cam

Let the Mormon church…the money behind the scene at NOM keep funnelling millions of dollars into this wasted organization. Let them blow a fortune in a state they’ve already lost. If they think that NY will vote for a Prop 8 style law like they did in CA. they’re going to be in for a shock.

This is so “important” that it did not hit the NY daily news, the Albany paper that covers the state goverment, nor the NY Post, and we all know how they love stuff like this.
