Shantay you stay

This ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race’ LEGO set is less than 200 votes away from becoming reality

After several months of campaigning for votes, the RuPaul‘s Drag Race LEGO set is less than 200 votes away from the 10,000 required to put the idea in front of LEGO executives for review.

Here’s what the set’s LEGO Ideas page states about the project:

“Minifigs, start your engines and may the best woman win!”

Introducing RuPaul’s Brick Race, a LEGO Ideas project inspired by LOGO TV’s long-running RuPaul’s Drag Race.

RuPaul’s Brick Race includes a cast of fan favourites who can prepare for, and compete in, Clutch Game – a family-friendly equivalent of a popular celebrity impersonation challenge from the series (in the style of Match Game and Blankety-Blanks).

The set would include eight “Minifig” characters, including three variations of RuPaul in and out of drag, Jinkx Monsoon, Bianca Del Rio, Katya Zamolodchikova, Alyssa Edwards and Milk.

Check out some photos from the set below, and then sashay on over to the voting page to learn more about how you can help the project cross the 10k threshold.

Who decided on who was chosen to immortalize in LEGO? Gonna be some really angry queens out there. Fan favorites I guess is fair.

It’s “fewer” than 200 votes away, NOT “less” than 200 votes away.

      Okay Mr. grammar nazi

      lol … it’s “RuPaul’s Drag Race … is”, so it’s ‘less’ :D

If the sentence was more about votes then it would be ‘fewer’ as in, “fewer than 200 votes needed before RuPaul’s Drag Race LEGO set becomes a reality”. But … it clearly isn’t that sentence.

If you’re going to play the Grammar Nazi game it pays to know what you’re talking about.
