Five Dances poster art

Broadway dancer Ryan Steele’s feature film debut in the new gay drama, Five Dances showcases the handsome performer’s many talents — including five beautifully choreographed performances elegantly shot in a single set rehearsal space (the film is choreographed by Jonah Bokaer). Happily he can also act. Best know for his work in Newsies and Matilda (and for being boyfriends with The Book of Mormon star Matt Doyle), Steele makes an adorable impression in this poignant tale of a young Midwest arrival in New York City who explores his blossoming gay sexuality with a fellow dancer. Written and directed by Alan Brown (Private Romeo), the film is newly out on VOD and coming out on DVD July 29th.
