WATCH: Shawn Mendes and Justin Bieber get intimate

It was a big night for Canadian pop sensations.

Two of our northern neighbor’s largest heartthrob exports teamed up on stage to open the American Music Awards with their joint new single, “Monster.”

For their legions of screaming fans, it was quite the crossover episode.

The Awards show was held at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, with all the expected Covid protocols.

Taraji P. Henson hosted to the empty hall, save for some cardboard audience cutouts of stars, including Beyonceé.
