How many of us have been there?
Dramarama, the new film from director Jonathan Wysocki, will resonate with more than a few men who remember their days in the high school drama club. The movie, Wysocki’s feature debut, follows a group of drama nerds at a Catholic high school spending their last night together before college. For Gene (Nick Pugliese), the moment represents an opportunity to come out to his friends; in particular, the handsome Oscar (Nico Greetham). Oscar and Gene have always had a very physical relationship. Will coming out mean taking their friendship to the next level?

This new clip from the film obtained by Queerty explores that tension, the yearning that so many of us felt as closeted teenagers. Having just participated in a murder mystery party, Gene and Oscar step away to change clothes. Things progress from there.
How about we take this to the next level?

Dramarama has its world premiere at Outfest August 22-30. The better news: anyone can watch the film from anywhere in the world thanks to Outfest going virtual due to COVID-19.
Former theater nerds, mark your calendars. This is a story you won’t want to miss.
