Trixie Mattel and Katya recreating Romi and Michele’s High School Reunion… Think about it.
While the RuPaul’s Drag Race alums are busy heating up the airwaves with their Viceland series The Trixie And Katya Show, they still managed to find time to recreate the iconic 90s comedy classic.
Over the weekend, Trixie and Katya starred in Peaches Christ’s new live show, Trixie and Katya’s High School reunion… to honor the film’s 20th anniversary.

They did a damn fine job, alongside April Kidwell (Christy Masters), Peaches Christ (Peaches Mooney), Lady Bear (Tobey), and Manuel Caneri (Sandy).
Both shows took place at San Francisco’s Castro Theatre, and they sold out quickly. The best part? The show faithfully recreated the interpretative dance set to Cyndi Lauper’s “Time After Time,” and the result is pretty damn sensational. Let’s compare and contrast.

Anyone who thinks every gay guy likes drag queens has a set of very loose screws. If i wanted to watch girls or some similar fact, I’d be straight. Give me guys being guys, then I’ll watch. That is what being gay is all about.

HIlarious! I’ve been waiting for somebody to do a parody of this overlooked comedy classic. If you haven’t seen “Romy and Michelle’s High School Reunion” it should be available on Netflix (since it came out like 20 years ago.

Peaches Christ puts on the best stage productions. I only with I was there to see this performance. But, I can’t see them all. Katya and Trixie were perfect in those roles.
