Topher DiMaggio looks… different.
Last week underwear brand Andrew Christian placed the model and brand ambassador on “indefinite suspension” while the company looks into the many claims against him ranging from verbal harassment to rape.

That news came in an emailed statement directly to Queerty, which read:

Andrew Christian is committed to creating a safe welcoming environment for our LGBTQ family.
At the time, DiMaggio remained prominently featured on the AC website modeling product:

We never received a direct response, but a refresh of the online store reveals a rather clunky “solution” to the delicate dilemma.

The move might have gone unnoticed were it not for DiMaggio’s easily recognizable stomach tattoo.
Well, that and the fact that if you click on any of the numerous now-headless DiMaggio torsos, you’ll find each and every image, uncropped:
And to add to the mixed message, here he is as the featured model in a Valentine’s Day sale email that went out on Sunday, a full four days after the brand suspended ties with him:
Meanwhile, adult toy company Fleshjack has decided to stop selling product modeled after DiMaggio and has scrubbed him from their website entirely.
In a statement to Str8UpGayPorn (link NSFW), Fleshjack said:
FleshJack has dissolved its relationship with Topher DiMaggio. He is no longer a FleshJack Boy, and we are no longer selling his products. While our interactions with Topher were always professional, we could not ignore the negative experiences concerning him that others have reported. We strive to promote positive sexual experiences for everyone, particularly in the gay community, and our association with Topher was not conducive with that mission.
We have reached out to Andrew Christian to ask whether they plan to continue using the cropped and uncropped images.

@Xzamilloh, I’ve often wondered the same thing; label whores apparently care more about appearances than practicality. Here’s a little known secret of the garment industry: shirts, pants, underwear, etc. are all made in the same factories using the same materials. When they are done, some get labeled, “Target” some get labeled “Abercrombie and Fitch” or get a dyed with unique pattern from some fancy designer and his name gets put on the label. But at the end of the day, the drawers you paid $40 for are the exact same ones you could have gotten at Target for $4.99…you paid $35 for a “paint job.”

I compare Andrew Christian underwear to Victoria’s Secret underwear. They are something kind of special and fun and sexy. I mean does a girl need to spend $100 buying a pair of bra and panties from Victoria’s Secret when they can go to Target and buy a matching set for 10 bucks? There could possibly be more to the story, only time will tell but to say that he couldn’t be involved in sexual assault because he is attractive is comparable to saying that an unattractive girl can’t be raped because the rapist doesn’t find her sexy. From what I understand about sexual assault, it’s more about gaining power and control over the victim rather than the physical pleasure associated with the act

Power is not just about position like being a boss or employer, but can also be about physical power and getting off on forcing someone to do something against their will. You can’t rape the willing no matter what weird fantasy you may be playing out and some men (and women) get off on the control of the truly unwilling.

When specialists talk about exerting power or control in rape, they are not necessarily referring to people in position of power (such as Weinstein, or lesser powerful ones). They refer also to the fact it can be thrilling for rapists to exert their physical and psychological power over someone.
It is the reason why we say they overpower their victim, because they like the struggle itself and asserting themselves in various ways to reach their ends (confusing the person with chosen words, while they proceed, etc.) They like the feeling of being superior, when they neutralize the person and this scheme has something addictive to them.
One must also keep in mind that an attack can occur very quickly and take people by surprise, leaving a few seconds for the rapist to overpower the person. Parameters such as physical strength on both sides, fighting skills abilities, clothes more or less easy to remove, etc. have to be taken into account.
Imagine a rapist expert (or simply proficient) in wrestling, as he has practiced so much before…Do you really think every man on Earth stands a chance against him?
So, we cannot say rape is impossible in a specific situation, whatever incongruous the practice involved (i.e. rim job, for instance), if we do not know all those parameters. Above all, never underestimate the “surprise” factor.
I should also add that anything can be a pretense for them to start assaulting someone. They may first set up the right conditions (not always), for instance “grabbing someone’s ass” and prey on responding details (meaning nothing in themselves) to start the assault, such as: “pulling the waistband down a little” jokingly.

Like they’ve stated that they have Topher on suspension pending investigation — they’ve toned down their public ties to Topher. It’s not a quick fix to go swap out ALL of those photos with Topher on them on their website.
Why not let them finish their investigation, then take action? I feel like AC has done exactly as much as they should at this point until a verdict is reached. AC should not be under fire here, it’s Topher himself, let’s not drag the wonderful Andrew Christian down with him…

I’ve heard some of the accusations. Sometimes rape occurs, and that’s an unfortunate power play. It’s also unfortunate that some haters have already decided their opinion without further base.
I’ve personally been ostracized for false claims of harassment. I’m hoping Topher is above all this and the accusations are false. I give the guy the benefit of the doubt on the sexual harassment. I don’t know if he has diva moments, but it is show business.

I have been in the porn biz for years. I have worked with Topher on many videos. He has always had a horrible reputation for violence. He has been known to throw fits on video sets and also for actual physical violence on set with people he would get in arguments with. To hear that he has been violent to someone or that he may have raped someone, does not surprise me a bit. I have seen his bad side first hand. Every time I was told that I had to work with him I cringed, because I knew he would be a complete nightmare to work with. I would suggest to stay away from him. He is not a nice person and can hurt you.

If he isn’t already by the time this is all over Andrew Christian is going to regret using gay porn models for his products. People, there is a thing called an insurance policy that a company in their right mind will carry when they are dealing with situations where someone they hired can get injured. I thought back to the now near five year old video of Brent Corrigan and company frolicking around the desert in Andrew Christian jockstrap promotion. That policy alone had to run in the thousands of dollars but it was worth it because there are snakes and such in the desert. Now you have a situation of people being “injured” by possible rapists? ChrisK, if you get a chance do a google search for accuser Bryan Hawn. His accusation was the one that really raised an eyebrow once I did a little digging. Click on the images icon and look at how much taller and muscular Bryan is compared to Topher. After you make the comparison then ask yourself if a man THAT much larger and muscular than Topher didn’t do a damn thing to fight off this guys unwanted (so he claims) advances and see if it makes ANY sense. Just one of Bryans butt cheeks is larger than Topher’s entire ass (as in both cheeks combined). His entire accusation reeks of a damn lie. Bryan has at LEAST a thirty pound weight advantage over Topher. A simple push would have gotten the point across that he wasn’t interested and if a physical confrontation erupted where Bryan stood there swinging his arms like an frightened eight year old girl fighting off a classmate a few blows that landed on Topher, the smaller of the two, would have made him think twice about continuing with this unwanted tryst.
