Breaking: Religious Extremist Released From Prison Just In Time To Stab Six People At Jerusalem Pride

Reports are flooding in that a man was taken down by attendees at today’s Jerusalem Pride Parade after he stabbed six people with a large knife.

The man has since been identified as Yishai Schlissel, an ultra-Orthodox Jew who was released from prison three weeks ago after serving 10 years of a 12-year sentence for stabbing three people at Jerusalem Pride in 2005. We wish were making this shit up.

One woman was critically wounded, two men were moderately wounded, and another two men and a woman suffered light injuries, Haaretz reports. All the wounded were about 30 years old.

The newspaper is also reporting Schlissel distributed fliers announcing his intentions before the attack.
