The provocative documentary, directed by Jamal Sims and produced by Jordan Finnegan and World of Wonder co-founders Fenton Bailey & Randy Barbato, explores the rise of “bucking,” a dance trend created as a response to the women-only world of majorette routines. Tired of feeling left out, a group of gay men began performing majorette routines in underground clubs.
As with the dance ball scene of yore, bucking has inspired nationwide competitions. When the Beat Drops follows a group of buckers on the way to a competition in Atlanta as they rehearse, prepare, and discuss how finding the bucking community has changed their lives.

I guess I am missing the point of the video and the issue therein. From what I caught of the still photos he says he was called out on, he’s dressed in nothing out of the ordinary that I would see walking through any Walmart (and I have been to PLENTY of Walmart’s across this country!).
I was expecting to see male “Majorettes”… but I’ve seen male “Majorettes”, as a matter of fact, George W. Bush was a male majorette. So… what is this about other than some narrow-minded school administrator has an issue with him?
