Chemsex… a.k.a. PNP… a.k.a. Party And Play.
The folks over at Squirt.org decided to do a little survey about the phenomenon. Over 22,000 members participated in the query. Participants were asked about their thoughts and experiences on chemically-altered sex.

30% of respondents said they had engaged in PNP, with an additional 39% saying they could consider it. The vast majority, however, said they weren’t interested. 61% said chemsex wasn’t for them.

The survey also asked guys about their drugs of choice. 36% said they used crystal meth, followed by marijuana (19%), cocaine (13%), and ecstasy (11%).
When it came to protection and recollection of their experiences while under the influence of illicit drugs, 85.5% of respondents said they recalled everything to mostly everything and 10% said they remembered half of their experience. 4% said they remembered almost nothing and 0.5% had absolute no memory of the experience.

The survey also found that 51% of men didn’t use protection when having sex.

Keep in mind that Squirt.org conducted the survey, which is a website that promotes anonymous sex and public sex/cottaging. I’m not judging at all, but it is an important factor to consider when looking at the results, which are also honor based and therefore not scientific stats.

Having sex with guys who are on drugs is the worst sex imaginable. They think they are having an amazing time because of the drugs but the reality is quite different.

When I was in my early 20’s I would have lots of “Chemsex” but it was always w/ my boyfriends. I never would with strangers. I remember it being fun and some times neither of us remembered what happened and that too was kind of fun. I wouldn’t recommend it w/ strangers and to make sure you’re safe.

When I was in college I slept with the TA for my freshman Chemistry class. I guess that doesn’t count as Chemsex, though.

1) Marijuana is not a chemical so it can’t be “chemsex.” And yeah it’s legal in 8 states. Let’s stop doing the drug-warrior thing by lumping in MJ with an incredibly dangerous drug like crystal meth, or even with cocaine and ecstasy. That’s ridiculous. If that’s Squirt.org’s fault (by how they worded the question) they should have known better.

Tons have done this. Some just party with booze and cannabis, others use meth or cocaine, and all sort of drugs while they have unprotected sex.

And I doubt you really disagree with me here. Alcohol can be called a chemical concoction of sorts, and it’s obviously much more dangerous than mj is, in regard to sex and in every other way (for example it can make one black out and lose memory completely, a problem specifically mentioned in this survey, while no amount of mj could ever do that), yet alcohol wasn’t even mentioned in this survey.
