Lady Gaga reveals why she was sneaking around at Coachella

Hollywood loves a remake, and now Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper are starring in the fourth remake of “A Star Is Born.”

The two turned heads over the weekend at Coachella, where they were spotted covertly filming scenes for the upcoming project. We’re sure most people were too busy fixing their flower crowns or posing their next selfie to really take stock of the situation.

On Monday, Lady Gaga shared an image of the mock music making magic, captioning it, “I am so excited to star in my first movie alongside someone I’m so lucky to call my friend.”

See how it looks below:

In this version, Gaga plays Ally (her character has been called Esther in previous iterations), while Cooper plays her lover Jackson Maine. The two search for stardom and must readjust when one finds more success than the other.

Previous versions of the film came out in 1937, 1954, and 1976. The original 1937 film stared Janet Gaynor in Gaga’s role, followed by Judy Garland and Barbra Streisand in the 1954 and 1976 versions.

Here’s a handy look at all those stars who’ve been born, including Gaga:
