“If there were no dads around, we wouldn’t have Mother’s Day.” That was an old American Greetings tagline for a Mothers Day card in the 1920s, but now the company is targeting lesbian moms with new greeting cards. We like this idea, and even if they can come off a bit cheesy like the “Mahogany” section at Hallmark, we think they will be great as long as none of the cards have Rosie O’Donnell’s face on them.
