This just in: Donald Trump‘s eldest daughter, Ivana Marie “Ivanka” Trump, is in a world of trouble after it was reported she used a private email account to conduct government business in 2017.
According to the Washington Post, Ivanka “sent hundreds of emails last year to White House aides, Cabinet officials and her assistants using a personal account, many of them in violation of federal records rules.” Not just that, but when confronted about it, “she said she was not familiar with some details of the rules.”

Shortly after the story broke, a spokesperson for the first daughter offered this explanation:

While transitioning into government, until the White House provided her the same guidance they had to others who started before she did, Ms. Trump sometimes used her private account, almost always for logistics and scheduling concerning her family.
Did you catch that, folks? Ivanka didn’t know that was wrong! And, anyway, she was only using the private email account to coordinate who would be picking up the kids from school! …Or so she says.

The excuse obviously a load of bullsh*t considering that her dad’s central attack on Hillary Clinton during the 2016 presidential campaign focused on her use of a private email account while serving as secretary of state, but that’s kinda sorta to be expected. After all, the entire Trump brand has been built on bullsh*t.
