Hunky gay Scotsman Finlay Wilson achieved viral fame in 2017 for his “Kilted Yoga” videos showing him and a fellow student practicing yoga in beautiful settings while shirtless and in kilts. But now Wilson is going viral after proposing to his boyfriend, Alan Lambie, at this past weekend’s Washington D.C. Pride celebration.

In the video (below), Wilson stands atop a rainbow-colored float and says into the microphone, “Alan, ever since we met you’ve been doing everything to make me a better person, and I have a very important question for you.”

Wilson then jumps down from the float, approaches his partner at the street side and kneels before him while the parade announcer says, “Oh my god, look at this! Scotland, what do you say?”

Lambie covers his mouth in surprise and then nods yes as Wilson presents a ring. The two then kiss as the audience cheers and a spray of pink confetti showers the street.

“Oh wow, look at that! That’s a Pride post!” the parade announcer declares. He continues, “Let’s hear it for love! Let’s hear it for Pride!” as Wilson puts the ring on Lambie’s finger and the two men share a long kiss. In the background, excited parade goers wave their flags, dance and blow whistles in celebration

The kiss lasts so long that the parade float begins to leave Wilson behind. Wilson’s face and chest flush bright pink as Lambie removes his sunglasses to wipe his tears of joy.

Here’s video of their engagement:

Last year, Wilson received a homophobic threat hand-delivered to his residence. Police investigated it as a “threatening and abusive incident.” Despite that unpleasantness, still maintains a successful web presence with over 80,600 Instagram followers.
