Morning Aural: The Who

The Who’s Who’s Next wasn’t always going to be an album.

Guitarist Pete Townsend originally conceived a sci-fi rock opera called The Lifehouse. That project, meant to be a follow-up to Tommy, ended up become the aforementioned 1971 album. And “Baba O’Riley” may be the most popular – if not th best – track from that stellar piece of aural genius.

We also included Tommy‘s “Pinball Wizard”, after the jump.
