My name is Erik Koral, aka Erika Simone, and I am a Los Angeles native, entrepreneur and Drag Queen. My concept Driving is a DRAG is a funny hybrid of Ride Share (Uber & Lyft) and Drag and things are absolutely taking off for me right now. LA Weekly published a huge story about me three weeks ago, with a great 3 minute sizzle video and things have just EXPLODED since then with 8 additional pieces of press out and 7 more coming, including New York Times.
I am going to be a subject in the forthcoming documentary “Dragged” and have other secret projects in the works. It’s definitely an incredibly exciting time in my life and I can’t wait to see whats going to happen the rest of this year. I also have plans to do a panel on business and creative marketing using Drag as a medium at DragCon, a Lyft float at Pride LA & SF, get on “Ellen,” and I am also talking to several LGBT organizations about implementing a “safe ride” program for LGBT youth and the Trans community as well.
My eventual goal is to branch off of Lyft and Uber and franchise this as a specialty business by 2016 with Drag Queens driving party buses and limos in major cities across the country!
