It’s a little-known fact that the Folsom Street Fair itself is just one part of the weekend festivities, a sort of beer-guzzling, pot-smoking, semi-naked warm up for the real thing. This year there were at least a dozen wild public parties (sorry, our sponsors won’t allow us to take you inside any of the private ones!) on and around Folsom Street, and they were as full of hard-core debauchery as ever. We sent photographer Kevin Kauer to record some of R rated goings on around the cool, gray city of love. The following pics are from the parties Deviants and Hard French (starting at slide #7), both of which took place on Sunday afternoon after the the fair had faded into a hazy fog of memory.

F- for Queerty again. Headline and article references Folsom after parties when the second half of pictures were clearly taken before the sun had set and taken at the Fair. Lame.

Had so much FUN at Folsom, these pics don’t do it justice. I was working so it was exhausting but SO much fun and even if you’re not into fetish/leather it’s just great observing and you meet many great people. Plan on going back next year work or not…

@Spike: To clarify, both selections of photos were taken after Folsom Street Fair, one at the end of the day at dusk (folsom ends at 5) and the other later into the evening. Kevin, our photographer, was at both parties. Thanks!

@Spike: A) I love these photos. B) They all were taken at the official folsom afterparty, Deviants (http://folsomstreetfair.org/deviants/) and it was produced by Hard French (the outdoor photos), SOME THING (the drag photos), Honey Soundsystem & Folsom Street Events. It was amazing, if you weren’t there you missed out in a big way so stop whining about the pictures and come next year.
