There are iconic figures to the gay community and then there’s Liza Minnelli. The beloved performer who’s been a tireless ally to LGBTs (hey, it’s in her blood) is merely the latest celeb to participate in the NOH8 campaign, a response to California’s discriminatory Proposition 8 , which bans same-sex marriage.
The showbiz vet taped up her talented mouth for the photo but offered the following comment to her fans:
“Here’s what I believe … no shame, no blame, no guilt. Try and be happy. And be who you are. I love you.”
Barbra, Madonna, Bette, you’ve been served!
