Narcissists and gawkers rejoice! In a stroke of what can only be described as marketing genius, Calvin Klein has launched a social media movement that encourages people to post semi-nude selfies in their CK skivvies… and we couldn’t be more excited!
The #mycalvins campaign kicked off earlier this week with the help of R&B crooner Trey Songz who tweeted not one but two pictures of himself wearing nothing but a pair of CK boxer briefs. The underwear giant is now encouraging others to follow suit by uploading their own underwear pics along with the hashtag #mycalvins.
The incentive?
Aside from the sheer pleasure of having a picture of yourself in your underpants, your selfie will also be added to the official #mycalvins online gallery for all the world to see.
Now what are you waiting for, boys? Get to snapping!

I am just wondering how Twitter got this past Apple. Grindr doesn’t let you show underwear, a policy they felt they had to adopt to please Apple. Is Apple now going to ban Twitter from the app store?

This campaign only reinforces the fact that twitter basically has so much junk in the trunk. When you try to search for people who legitimately used the hashtag and uploaded their photo, you can’t find anything useful or relevant because all the music apps are playing Trey’s albums and using the hashtag OR all the spambots are just destroying the hashtag. Its a big fail in my opinion — publicity I guess. #tweetworldproblems
