Yet another trailer for American Horror Story 7: Cult was rolled out today, and this one reveals Sarah Paulson will be playing the role of Ally, a lesbian who’s losing her goddamn mind in the wake of Donald Trump‘s election.
When she screams, she screams for all of us. Well, most of us.
After the election, the situation gets even creepier — the story checks out — as Paulson starts seeing leering clowns clomping malevolently around her neighborhood, occasionally following her to the grocery story to tease and tantalize her with their horrific ways.
Meanwhile, Alison Pill stars as Paulson’s partner, and Cheyenne Jackson plays her therapist, who patronizes her in honied dulcet tones.
How about we take this to the next level?
Our newsletter is like a refreshing cocktail (or mocktail) of LGBTQ+ entertainment and pop culture, served up with a side of eye-candy.
“Since election night, it has all been getting so much worse,” Paulson tells Jackson.

Again, the story checks out.
Ryan Murphy hinted that the new season would have something to do with the 2016 election, but never suggested Trump would be galloping onto the set like this was Late Night with Jimmy Fallon:
“The themes of American Horror Story have always been allegories. You will not see Trump and [Hillary] Clinton as characters on the show.”
Unfortunately, nothing in the trailer is even half as creepy as Trump’s Twitter feed, but here you go.

Is he trying to say that lesbians are mentally unstable and have uncontrollable mood swings?

Ryan Murphy seems to trade in stereotypes that are not particularly gay-friendly. Is he on our side or is he simply exploiting our side?

seems to me she’s channeling post-election Carole Radziwell from RHONYC.

I have yet to encounter a liberal who HASN’T behaved irrationally since last November (for instances of such folly, look no farther than the comments section of any political website—try this one for starters—or the Twitter feed of any “celebrity”).

He’s not the sharpest tool in the shed. TRMS, link below, discusses the motive for threatening Senator McConnell. The legal ramifications for Trump having threatened a Senator may be significant.
Some twisted circus came to town and stayed for seven months. Cartoonish characters. Pence is, and will always be, The Tin Man; oily foil distorts around his eyes when he speaks, sincerely and least threateningly, how he’s needs a heart. (Cheney, connections?) The silent GOP and a merry band of replicants, marauding about the White House, selling secrets and souls, and insulting the building. Lincoln’s ghost, writing notes in steamy mirrors? Vacations will not fix his red wagon. The man has a guilty countenance. Here’s the link to the McConnellthreatenedbyTrumpifhecannotgethelpwithRussia investigation.
During fish-die-offs the harbor would smell like fetid emulsion, starved of oxygen, and putrifying. If the Republicans continue to reveal themselves, nostrils will be covered by beach towels in 2018.

Ummmm Yeah
Seems pretty actuate of the way the new left flipped out to me. I’m more offended by the Joker ripoff.

The only thing that seems inaccurate from the trailer is that Evan Peters seems to possibly be a Trump supporter. I’m not aware of any Trump supporters who dye their hair blue and go around smashing things with bats if you don’t agree with them – those would be the Bernie people and Antifa
