Did we really have to wait a whole week before Al and Tipper Gore’s split was blamed on a gay affair?
Enter Globe, the preeminent tabloid magazine dedicated to publishing Gary Coleman’s deathbed photos.
After 40 years of marriage, the rag claims, Tipper found Al “caught up in a nasty gay affair,” and that’s why their marriage is ending! It’s a sad day when the Weekly World News isn’t around to counter that Al and Tipper split after she fell in love with a man who is half-bat, half-spider.

I love both Gores. However, Al will never be in a gay scandal until he looses 50 pounds. No way.
Couldn´t Care Less
I´d do Al…he can have an affair with me anytime…

A friend told me Andrew Sullivan said Gore’s got a very large dick. Where would Sully get this info?
Tim
Al always seemed gay to me. My radar goes off when he speaks.

@Tim: That’s not a gay lisp you hear, it’s a Southern lisp. Sometimes hard to tell the difference…

Lord, what next? An undoctored photo of Rush Limbaugh and a 11inch fifteen year old Dominican boy?
I know anything is possible and I have been out of the closet more years than many of you reading this are old but I do not believe for one minute Al Gore is gay.
As far as a seeing someone piece when Pat Buchanan was running for president a photo appeared of him in his BVD’s. There was no trace of anything down there at all in the basket box. Anyone can get a photo of someone if they follow them into a gym. Maybe this person claiming to know this about Al Gore did just that.

@Dame: I agree with you. Al Gore is not gay and this is just gossip.
Mr Rodgers
Al is not gay…he´s just confused…

@Anthony in Nashville: I think all talk about political memberage and size thereof originates in the House gym, where a lot of members of Congress work out.
You remember the House gym from when Rahm Emmanuel read Eric Massa up one side of his chubby frame and down the other recently.
Truth B. Told
You never know. Gore has “evolved” on a lot of issues.
Interesting tidbit of background info on ol’ Al. I’m no Log Cabin Republican (registered Democrat, seriously thinking about going Independent), but the political history of Al Gore has been some what spotty according to this old article on the Uncle
Tom’s Log Cabin Republicans site
Gore, who was quoted by the Nashville Tennessean in 1984 saying homosexuality is not “an acceptable alternative that society should affirm” and said in his 1984 US Senate race that he would not accept money from gay rights organizations and that he opposed a “gay bill of rights,” reportedly sought the support of the Phelps family in his 1988 presidential campaign, and invited the Phelpses to the Clinton-Gore inaugurations of January 1993 and January 1997.

@Truth B. Told: Ok, you say you are not a Log Cabin Republican but I personally don’t find it coincidental you posted a link to an article that leads to the site (and babble) that the Log Cabin Republicans spew their self hate messages from.
Every hit on that site helped raise their advertising rates. For those of you who have not clicked on to that link you might want to consider the consequences down the road about helping these lost children of the community survive alongside a group who curse every time they are mentioned and a GOP response must be given.
By the way, could you add the links to the sites where McCain, Bush, or Ms. Ignoramus USA herself, Sarah Palin, are SPEAKING OUT AGAINST FRED PHELPS and his kind?…………..I didn’t think so.

@Dame Helga von ornstein:
Honey, don’t kill the messenger. I just googled Al Gore and Fred Phelps. You can do the same — that is, if the truth is not too difficult a concept for you to grasp.
Al Gore, like John Kerry, didn’t mention “the Gays” in his primary convention nomination speech — they both lost. Both Bill Clinton and Obama did “fit us in” briefly – they both won (and crapped on us later).
Now, before you get all cliche and predictable about whether or not the McCain/Pallin ticket would have been better — no, of course not, they both suck. But that doesn’t excuse Obama’s hypocrisy, dishonesty, and foot-dragging either. So get real and stop being an enabler like some pathetic battered housewife who acts like they don’t deserve to be treated better because, after all, they could have been married to a serial killer instead of just an abusive spouse.
Jeez, I don’t see the Black and Hispanic community kiss any political party’s ass. Why do our GLBT community political “leaders” demand that we all be “bottoms” for the Dems? I guess that just makes it easier to stab us all in the back when were not looking, eh?
