Tyler Posey has never been shy when it comes to talking about his sexuality.
The Teen Wolf star/OnlyFans model first opened up about it last year in a video, saying he had “hooked up with guys before.”
“To anybody who is new here, and asking if I’ve hooked up with guys before, the answer’s yes,” Posey said in a video. “We’ve blown each other, you know what I mean. But never had sex.”

He added, however, that he has “been fu*ced with a strap on before,” in case anyone was wondering. But he stopped short of saying how he actually identified, leading many people to accuse him of “gay baiting.”
Now, in an interview with NME, Posey is reflecting on the response that video got and how his current partner helped him figure out his sexual identity.
“Someone asked if I’d been with men [as well as women], and I said yes,” he explained. “Since then there’s been this really loud person online–I’m pretty sure it’s only one person–and they’re trying to call me a ‘gay-baiter’: pretending to be gay to get money, essentially.”
But that’s not true because, well, he wasn’t pretending. He identifies queer.
“I’ve been with everybody under the sun,” he said. “Right now I’m in the best relationship that I’ve ever been in with a woman, and she’s queer too. She’s helped me realize that I fit under the queer umbrella and that I’m sexually fluid, I guess.”
Then, quickly correcting himself, he added, “No, not ‘I guess’. I don’t want anyone to take this [interview] and be like: ‘Well, he was kind of wishy-washy about it.’”
Reflecting on his OnlyFans experience, which he’s scaled back on in recent months, Posey said it became “mentally draining” after a while, especially because people kept making requests that left him feeling “like an object”.
“Instead of just posting naked pictures, I’m really trying to show an insight to my life that I don’t do anywhere else,” he explained, adding that he’s “not a sex worker” but that he also doesn’t “want to take anything away from anyone who is.”

The dude only semi “came out” when he opened up an Onlyfans. And he definitely has used “queerness” and homo suggestions to promote his OnlyFans. All of that to me is the essence of “gay baiting”. It doesn’t matter what your identities are or lifestyles or your experiences or the dimensions of your sexuality or where you fit in the gender, sexual, romantic, emotional investment, relationship commitment/contentment spectrum. That is very much “baiting”. He’s also selling basic sets of shirtless pics for $30.00. He’s made suggestive comments to try get people to buy his Onlyfans. He’s used a robot to spam followers’ timelines. He’s re-sold old pictures. He used sex workers/porn performers for photo shoots to try to make it seem like his OnlyFans was more explicit than it is. Then he downed sex workers and claimed he was above sex work. He’s as well clearly dealing with some ego, mental health and drug issues.
The dude is manipulative as hell and a bit of a fvck-boy and scammer. I do wish him well on his journey and with all his struggles.

Tyler still has a lot to learn about “queerness”, sexuality in general, and the gender, sexual, romantic, affection, emotion, commitment spectrum. Put on top of that the obvious mental health and drug issues. And put on top of that some of the problematic ways he (or his management) have run his OnlyFans account.
There are guys who enjoy anal sex with dudes but don’t really consider themselves that sexually into guys. There are legit homosexual males who are not into anal sex or anal play at all. There are guys who enjoy topping women but are still homo-leaning when it comes to the overall spectrum. His viewpoint is rather basic. While it’s kinda hard to believe that he’s blowing dudes and allowing girls to fvck him with strap-on’s but has never bottomed for a guy. His statements are come off a bit gay-panic-y and “I want to make sure I don’t come off too ‘gay”.
Attractions, desires, sexual behaviors, sexual enjoyment, passions, affections, romantic bonds, emotional attachment, relationship investment, love, sense of self, psychology- these things are frequently far more complicated or individual than lower body penetration. Any “queer” needs to learn this stuff. His retrograde perspective would be fine if he didn’t have such a big platform and didn’t have so many followers. He’s trying to be “progressive” and “open”, but a lot of what he’s saying and doing is rather self-conscious and dated. Tyler perhaps needs to take a break from OnlyFans and social media in general, educate himself more and work through some struggles. But he’s of course focused on the bag.
