Screen shot 2013-09-06 at 5.38.39 PMMeet Billy, Stoli Guy finalist and student in Philadelphia.

Billy sang his way into our hearts with a rendition of “Teenage Dream” by Katy Perry at the local event in Philadelphia. Now this Philly boy next door will need your votes nationwide to make his Stoli Guy dreams a reality. Vote for Billy to be The Most Original Stoli Guy in the country, and he will become Stoli’s national LGBT ambassador, appear in an Andrew Christian campaign and enjoy a vacation in Key West.

Queerty got to chat exclusively with the singing dreamboat about how following his heart led him all the way to the Stoli Guy finale and what his father thinks about this amazing journey.

Can you give us a little teaser of what your original talent showcase will be at the finale on September 19?

Let’s just say I’m leaving my house music party boy comfort zone and going back to my roots.

Screen shot 2013-09-06 at 5.38.51 PMHow did your friends and family react when you were crowned The Most Original Stoli Guy in your hometown?

The best reaction was from my father who came to support me and kept screaming, “I MADE HIM!”

Being an LGBT ambassador for Stoli is an exciting job. Why do you think you’d be the best at it?

I’m a very outgoing and personable individual, and as an ambassador of anything you need to be able to reach to and connect with people. I know my ability to connect with people on a deep level in a short period of time would make me perfect for this task.

What’s your advice for anyone looking to become one of The Most Original Stoli Guys in the country

Be yourself, don’t hold back, and don’t ever let someone tell you that what your doing is wrong. Follow your heart but keep a clear mind along the way.
