Watch: Dancing With The Stars‘ First Same-Sex Pairing Perform

The much-hyped (by Queerty?) same-sex pairing on Israel’s Dancing With The Stars at last took place, featuring lesbian sportscaster Gili Shem Tov and Dorit Milman performing to a Ke$ha cover. I wouldn’t say it was sexy, but I’m not sure that was the point either.

Now, we just sit and wait for the American version to do the same thing. Don’t hold your breath America……

The problem is the same problem you have with any “celebrity” with no dance background… awkward movements, lipsynching to help keep the rhythm, not sure how to go from step to step…

I’m curious to see if they make it past round one, and if so, how well they evolve as a pair. Hopefully the sportscaster/celebrity gets more comfortable as a dancer and we can see them do more.
