For the cost of two sandwiches, I offer my best psychotherapeutic support to Rain, a transwoman who struggles to feel safe to date. In a world where trans women of color continue to have an alarmingly high rate of murder just for being who they are, it’s no surprise caution with being vulnerable isn’t exclusively because of emotional insecurity.
Though real physical danger aside, there’s also no escaping the fear of rejection all of us humans endure when looking for love. Listen in as Rain and I talk about how to stand on the shoulders of the fallen LGBTQ giants like Muhlaysia Booker who paved the way for us to live and love as bravely as we can.
In honor of Mental Health Awareness and LGBT Pride Months (May and June), new episodes will be released every Tuesday.
Grab a sandwich and join the convo:
How about we take this to the next level?
Our newsletter is like a refreshing cocktail (or mocktail) of LGBTQ+ entertainment and pop culture, served up with a side of eye-candy.

This was a nice interview. However, there’s still something I just don’t like about Matthew. He just comes off as pretentious. Maybe it’s just me.
