Every spring, the Lucille Lortel Awards honors off-Broadway’s best shows. On May 2, for the twenty-fifth time, it will hand out a round of second-tier Tonys (sorry! that was mean) in categories like Outstanding Play, Outstanding Musical, Outstanding Revival, and Outstanding Costume Design. And this year’s might just be the gayest yet, as the nominees include: The Pride (among the leaders with six nominations), The Temperamentals, Yank! A WWII Love Story The Pride, and A Boy and his Soul. Heh, theater is for fags.
