Frank Ocean has been testing us and we are about done.

It has been four years since his Grammy winning debut album “channel ORANGE” was released and he has been teasing fans ever since with his long anticipated and forever delayed sophomore effort, “Boys Don’t Cry.”

The most recent deadline of July just came and went, like so many before it, and the latest word is that it will come out today. We only half believe that, and that’s only because we really want to believe.

We may not be at the point of tears just yet, but we are getting close. Give us the album, Frank! We beg you. We are tired of waiting and we are sick of what it is turning us into.

Here are six things we are ready to stop doing as soon as “Boys Don’t Cry” is finally delivered to us.

1. This:

Rock, and wait, and check, and rock, and wait, and check, and rock, and wait…Come on already!

2. Believing in conspiracy theories

In 2012, Ocean said in an interview with The Guardian that he may never make another album. He said he might write a novel. Was he serious? Has this all been some kind of hoax? Is the instrumental music from the live stream video on boysdontcry.co the album? And what’s with the woodworking in that clip? Has he become a carpenter?

We require answers.

3. Checking Twitter every ten minutes

Is he trending? Is it out? Any new developments? Refresh…

4. Staring at that empty room

Seriously, though, what is this? Is this some kind of metaphor? A super troll power move? Again, answers. We need them. Or, better yet, how about the album. Jay Versace speaks for all of us here.

5. Listening to “Wolves” on repeat

We’ve got the version of Kanye West‘s song “Wolves,” featuring Ocean on repeat, while fooling ourselves into believing that it is anywhere near as good as “Boys Don’t Cry” is going to be.

But in the meantime…

6. Faking patience

Are we there yet? Are we there yet? Are we there yet?…

No, really, are we?
