Madonna and Miley Team Up, Plus Four More Madge Collaborations We’re Still Waiting For

Madonna has been keeping extra busy this year.

Earlier this month, rumors began swirling that she and Adele will be collaborating in 2014. Then on Sunday, the Queen of Pop made a surprise appearance at the Grammy Awards during Macklemore’s epic performance of “Same Love.” Up next, she’ll be sharing the stage with Miley Cyrus for the “Wrecking Ball” hit maker’s upcoming MTV Unplugged performance. The program airs Wednesday night at 9 p.m.

We used to think all these collaborations with younger artists were a desperate attempt by Madonna at staying relevant, but we’ve since changed our minds. With all the money in the world and nothing left to prove, we think she’s acting more like a mother hen to the singers for whom she helped pave the way. And we can’t wait to see what other collaborations she has up her sleeve.

Scroll down to see four more musicians we’d love to see Madonna team up with.

Madonna and Kylie

Honestly, we’re surprised these two haven’t paired up yet. Their both the reigning Queens of Pop in their home countries. We can’t imagine a more royal (or gay) collaboration.

Madonna and Lorde

Speaking of things that are royal, a song featuring Grammy Award-winning Royals singer Lorde and Madge would be pretty darn fantastic.

Madonna and Daft Punk

Last year, her Madgesty participated in a Reddit AMA and said she would like to collaborate with the French duo. We’d like it, too!

Madonna and Frank Ocean

We love both Madonna and Frank Ocean unconditionally. Whatever they release, we listen to on repeat for months and months and months. A duet between the two of them would be absolutely heavenly.
