Morning Aural: MC Flow

Adorable baby dyke rapper and 2008 San Diego Music Award “Best Hip-Hop” winner MC Flow has a video out for a song called “Created Equal”, which is cute, adorable, pretty damn smart– and oh yeah, has a nice message to boot.

I’m amazed how very few people ever reply to anything pertaining to LGBT rappers on this site, it’s like its audience (Queerty’s)is over 40 Elton John/Melissa Etheridge loving fans or dance music lovers we are all stereotyped as.

Anyhow, didn’t mean to spite your readers but that was my off the wall way of giving you a BIG FAT KUDOS for recognizing MC Flow’s video. I am impressed it made your radar!

Hee hee I saw that one Japhy, I manage Tori Fixx (and a few others) and my Google alert went off the night you guys posted that.

I meant to write about how impressed I was with that recognition but I was super busy with holiday stuff that night but did read it on my Blackberry. As someone who has been battling to get LGBT hip hop more attention in mainstream gay media for a few years now, seeing the posts like those that your site has started making leave me very encouraged and hopeful.

Thanks!!!!
