WATCH: Tennis Player Novak Djokovic A Good Sport After Young Boy’s Marriage Proposal
While practicing his serve for the U.S. Open, Novak Djokovic was surprised by a fan’s unusual request.
“Djokovic, will you marry me?” a young boy in the crowd shouted.
While the two won’t be walking down the aisle any time soon (for a number of reasons) the classy tennis ace did invite the kid down to whack some balls around later gave him a hug. Djokovic later went on to handily defeat Italy’s Paolo Lorenzi in his first round match at the Open.
Coincidence? We think not.
Very classy response by Djokovic. Always good to see athletes treating their fans right.

Very classy Novak! Very classy! Have watched him mature as a tennis player and he’s really on top of his game.

Was the kid sincere or just being a smart ass?
If the kid was really gay/bi and sincere and that confident way to go for him.

That’s so cute :) Djokovic is such a people person, such a good person to hold the title of “Best Tennis Player” (or something of the sort).
