Absolutely Fabulous producer Jon Plowman hopes to make the show, Beautiful People, the hit of the season. We would tune in, but we're washing our hair that night. [NY Post]
Sweetie, darling! Fabulous news! Jennifer Saunders took a break from tickling funny bones to receive an honorary degree from Britain's Exeter University.
Saunders also got a chance to chat it up with actor (and hubby) Adrian Edmondson, with whom she used to perform stand-up.
In fact, Edmondson's college nick name, "Eddie Monsoon", inspired Saunders' Absolutely Fabulous character, "Edina Monsoon".
Just a little trivia for ya….
Considering Keira Knightley's dubious claim that she wants to look like Beth Ditto, we can't resist posting this Absolutely Fabulous-inspired Junior Vasquez track. We're not the biggest fans of JV, but you know we love us some Ab Fab.
It's also worth noting that we listen to this song when we're feeling fat and ungorgeous. It cheers us up for 3 minutes and 35 seconds. Then we go back to sobbing like a baby. Unless it's on repeat, in which case we're deliriously self-confident until the music stops. The moral of the story: don't stop the music.
