André Lamoglia plays Iván on the Netflix soap Élite, which follows a group of teenagers attending Las Encinas, an elite prep school in Spain. Season 5 of the hit series just dropped and this season is racier than ever.

In episode 5, Iván confesses to Patrick (Manu Ríos) that he likes him. But just when they’re about to kiss, Iván pulls away. Feeling jilted, Patrick considers seducing Iván’s dad. When Iván learns about this, he confronts him, and the two have sex together instead.

Speaking to Hugo Gloss about their sex scene, Lamoglia said: “I’ll leave it to your imagination. Just kidding! I didn’t do any scenes completely naked. We had protection, a sex cover. They call it a thong or a sock, something like that.”
Even with the sex cover, however, Lamoglia was very nervous ahead of the scene.
“I’ll be honest. Before I got to Spain, when I got cast, I was worried about filming those scenes,” he said. “Mainly because I’ve never done a scene like that in my career before. So I kept thinking about the logistics of how it would be done.”
“After I arrived here in Madrid, it was much more relaxed than I imagined. When we film the scenes, the team is reduced on set. We have an intimacy coordinator, precisely for those scenes, to make us more comfortable, more prepared, to bring more truth to the scene.”
In the end, he said, “it was a lot easier to film than I thought. I felt really comfortable when I had to do them.”

Speaking to GQ Brazil, Lamoglia elaborated on filming the sex scene with Ríos, saying it wasn’t awkward at all.
“He made me feel really comfortable,” he explained, “and the fact that we get along is great for the series and the scenes because you already have a certain intimacy, a certain chemistry.”
He added that the two have since become close friends “in and out of work.”
Oh, and as for online rumors that he stuffed his underwear to make his, ahem, talent appear larger, Lamoglia recently told Esquire Spain, “Everything is mine! All mine.”
When asked if he used a body double for any of his nude scenes, he replied: “The truth is no. I didn’t even think to ask for it.”

I’m 70% into season 5 and yet again it has an interesting storyline and is filled with surprises.
So far all 5 seasons are flawless to me.

Renewed for S06…the short stories they released give a lot of good expansion stories on some of the characters, like the “Omar, Ander, Alexis” pack. Anyway, there is no full frontal scenes on camera, but all the implied sex is there. I watched the first 2 seasons with subtitles then went back and rewatched the 1st 2 seasons and the last 3 dubbed. Subtitles are translated from the original script but can be distracting. Good series, good actors.
