Created by Chinese-Italian chef Yujia Hu, his “shoe-shi” are meticulously crafted works of art that combine his love for Japanese fare and sporty sneaks.

“I’ve always been a big fan of NBA,” he tells Self“so I created onigiris representing my favorite basketball sneakers.”
