Netflix Canada bursts out of the closet: ‘We’re the gay one’

Let’s all celebrate the Hollywood figures who have come out recently: Garrett Clayton, Brendon Urie, Kevin McHale… oh, and Netflix Canada.

The Canuck chapter of the uber-popular streaming service embraced its queerness on September 16 after a Twitter user asked why there’s a difference between American Netflix and Canadian Netflix.

“Because we’re the gay one,” Netflix Canada replied. (Never mind that Hollywood studios’ licensing agreements differ by country.)

And honey, the Netflix to the north has the receipts to back up the claim.

Netflix Canada’s Twitter posts have raved over everything from Zac Efron’s abs to Christine Baranski’s statement necklaces. Oh, and its daddy is Stanley Tucci… because, you know, it has eyes and a pulse.
