Never let it be said that Nick Jonas doesn’t give the people what they want. Following a recent evening of flashing his abs in gay bars, the entertainer stopped by Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live to share some exciting news. Jonas revealed he’ll be naked in his new DirecTV series Kingdom and the storyline revolves around homosexuality, causing Andy Cohen, like the rest of us mere mortals, to mark the days in his calendar until the show’s premiere.

Keep them thirsty, Nick! The gay-boys are going to eat this up.
Paco
Nick is adorable.
rcs831
Why can’t he be nude and possibly gay in real life too?
Desert Boy
I’m soooooooooooooooooooooo glad I have Direct-TV!
Xzamilio
I’ll wait till some thirstbucket uploads the good parts on Youtube. This is pandering to the fullest, but if it’s working, do you, babe.
JaredNorthcutt30
Why is Steve Harvey on this show? I thought he was a propagator of traditional gender stereotypes.
Blackceo
@JaredNorthcutt30:
Because he was invited and I liked his appearance on the show.
Anyway, I actually wouldn’t mind more Nick Jonas over that Tom Daley boy for awhile. Nick is hot and has a great ass.
Amalgamate
He’s a deuchebag-no thanks
Silas Wegg
Steve Harvey’s giving the gay stare in that freeze frame.
As for Nick, he better not just be naked under the covers. If he’s gonna hardcore tease us, the gay fans he LOVES, he needs to follow through and unveil that juicy ass.
Andy is such a perv.

Nick Jonas is a Christian, so he won’t play gay unless it’s in an anti-gay production. They are vehemently opposed to gay people.
rickhfx
It seem in order to be to be playing a gay character you have to be straight. Homophobia is alive and well, we are not equal just the flavour of the month. Read the The Tolerance Trap by Suzanna Danuta Walters.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kWpy7ffzJ40
TriForceKid1013
@Blackceo: I think this is the first time in months there’s actually no article or picture about or of Tom Daley on the main page although Im sure that’ll change by the end of the day lol
Mack
@Merv: He needs the money since he isn’t making it as a “JoBro” any more. That Purity Ring was nothing more than a stunt. He must be a lasped Christian since he was shacked up with an older woman for a while.
mydude
@Mack:
Nick Jonas doesn’t need any more money. He made plenty and invested well.
He and his brothers still have millions in the bank.
I agree, the purity ring thing was ridiculous and it was consistently called out. Everyone knows they were having sex with people and those rings were to pander to their Christian fanbase.
Doughosier
@Paco: Yes, he is!
SteveDenver
Good luck to him. It would be great if his depiction was a pleasantly realistic depiction… with crazy abs. He can ride Justin Bieber reverse-cowboy.
hephaestion
@Merv: Nick Jonas is not even remotely anti-gay. Where do you get that stuff?
mz.sam
@hephaestion: Ignore Merv. He’s been trolling around lately with misinformed comments and now jealousy after Nick’s appearance at a gay New York bar to promote his Kingdom series. Besides, Nick is a friend of the LGBT community and has admitted to the press that he is Jewish.
Black Swan
I think I already saw this interview when it actually aired on the Bravo channel.
Merv
@mz.sam – Where do you get that he is Jewish? His father was an ordained Assemblies of God minister, which is an evangelical Pentecostal denomination, not known for their liberalism.
jjose712
He is a christian, but that doesn’t make him antigay. In fact, he seems quite gay friendly.
Anyway the rumours are his character has a secret linked his sexuality but that secret has nothing to do with homosexuality
redbird247
@Merv: Just because Nick Jonas is Christian does not mean that he is against gays. Kristin Chenoweth and Pauley Perrette both identify as Christians and support LGBT rights. Many members of the LGBT community even identify as Christians. I know at least three gay men that do. It isn’t the Christians that are anti-gay it is the Fundamentalist Evangelicals and Holiness Movement groups that are anti-gay and anti-pretty much anything else that requires common sense.
Also for the attack on straight playing gay instead of attacking straight actors for playing gay why don’t we show our appreciation for the fact that there are people out there who are willing to stand with us in our fight for equality. Yes there are probably gay actors that can play the same role but there are also gay actors (Neal Patrick Harris, Matt Bomer, and Jim Parsons to name a few) who play or played straight men. If we expect to be treated with respect we have to treat others with respect.
mujerado
@rickhfx: One of the two gay guys on “Modern Family” is gay. There are gay men playing straight men, so what’s wrong with straight men playing gay men? More actors are straight, so they get more of all kinds of parts. Get over it.
ocdj63
Ya, he’s also Diabetic and a former Disney actor, so what’s being Christian have to do with anything. Dude appeals to a wide range of people. He’s smart. Nicks talented and a pretty cool guy. Unlike that Canadian joker.
Camper13
I tried to get some answers on why gays are gay on one of the other topics and all i got was a bunch of rude comments. Everything i have read so for tells me that even the gays don’t know why they are, oh they have come out but won’t talk about it, they just get defencive and call me gay just for being on this site. Im 52 and have a family have had a couple of encounters with gay guys at work but after reading all this stuff i don’t think i want to know anymore. I also can’t beleive you waste so much time from your life doing this. Anyway, how do i delete my registration from this site, i can’t seem to get anything to work.
mujerado
If you want to know why gays are gay, ask yourself why are you straight? Same reason. Born that way. Or do you think you remember choosing to be straight? If so, when was that? How old were you? Why are you like you are? Do you get the point yet? We’re all who and what we were born. It’s just what it is.
Camper13
Well that brings me to something that i hope will not uppset you, i am just trying to understand. I am LDS, beleive in Heavenly Father, the Bible, the Book OF Mormon, modern prophets, modern scripture. God put man and woman on the earth and commanded them to have kids, he would not tell us to do this and then send us here as gay people thats not how the gospel plan works. Do gays not beleive in god or not understand the gospel plan? If they do then that would mean that there was a trigger of some sort some time in your life to send you down the gay path like playing around with each other as kids or watching porn or a bad mother that turned you off to women, what ever. I don’t beleive that anybody is born gay. I never had to think about if i was straight or not.
mujerado
@Camper13: That’s exactly the point, Camper. You never had to think about if you were straight or not. Guess what: I never had to think whether I was gay or not, I just was. Believe it or not. Do you think a little kid wants to be someone who gets bullied and called names? I was gay before I knew what gay means. It’s not a choice, any more than left-handed people choose to be different from the right-handed majority. For most people, heterosexuality is normal; for a few of us, homosexual is our normal state of being. It’s too bad some people are made uncomfortable by that, but there’s nothing they or we can do about it, even if we wanted to.
