Have you seen Jamie Lee Curtis dress down in this hilariously unsettling aerobics video? OK, so this supercut has been out for a while now. But we thought it was worth sharing again, in case you haven’t seen it yet…

A little backstory: In 1985, Jamie Lee Curtis starred alongside John Travolta in the film Perfect. Here’s the description according to Wikipedia:

The film was based on a series of articles in Rolling Stone magazine in the late 1970s, chronicling the popularity of Los Angeles health clubs amongst single people.

The Wikipedia summary of the movie Perfect

Basically, Jamie Lee plays a sexy aerobics instructor who falls in love, is betrayed by, and then ultimately forgives John Travolta, who writes for Rolling Stone.

Sounds riveting, no?

Too bad critics and audiences alike didn’t think so. The film bombed at the box office and was nominated for three Golden Raspberry Awards. The New York Times called it “an unintentionally hilarious mixture of muddled moralizing and all-too-contemporary self-promotion,” Variety said it was filled with “superficiality, manipulation and smugness.”

Today, Perfect has a 19 percent rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

Anyway, a while back, someone had the genius idea to take all of the aerobics scenes from the film and string them together into one long supercut, then set it to an ’80s-inspired electronic dance track. The result is both hilarious and unsettling.
