Havens Corners Church’s Katy Perry wordplay got some backlash this weekend.
The Ohio-based church recently used the lyrics of Perry’s “I Kiss A Girl” to spread a “loving warning” to its teenage brethren: “I kissed a girl and I liked it, then I went to hell.” Charming.
Well, some obviously more progressive vandals offered Havens Corners a message of their own: “God adores you.” Ain’t that sweet? It’s an acronym for gay! We’re sure Havens Corners is simply tickled pink.

There’s a proposed LGBT high school to be built in Chicago. Looks like Queerty missed this story.

I think Queerty seriously needs to start proof reading it’s posts. The sign clearly says “God Adores you”. And the song is “I Kissed/ A Girl”.
In any case: that’s a brilliant act of vandalism!

It’s about time the gays started fighting back. I don’t condone vandalism but I support whoever did this and their reason behind it

Sweet! Personally, I would have used a bulldozer.

CitizenGeek… you need to improve your cognitive reading skills. Go back and read the original post.
This is one act of vandalism I heartily endorse.

Primo move. Someone should redecorate Sarah Palin’s prophecy-oriented church in Wasilla with the same theme.
