1. Dinner before 9: In 2012 I’m going to practice making reservations with an 8 in it or even—gasp!—a 7. Learn all the presidents and state capitals: I grew up in Canada so American history was never my big thing, but hopefully that will change this year.
2. Learn how to cook Asian food: I love cooking and I approach each meal like a Top Chef challenge, but I have yet to conquer Asian food. Shocking, I know.
3. Talk, don’t text. Hell, isn’t that why Steve Jobs invented Facetime?
4. Get married: Or at least know I have the option to every where in this country.

By now you’ve probably made (and possibly already broken) your New Year’s resolutions for 2012. Were they the usual—lose weight, save money, stop watching Mob Wives marathons—or are you trying to reach new horizons in ’12?
We asked some boldface LGBTs what their resolutions are for this year, including Justin Bond, Tabatha’s Salon Takeover‘s Tabatha Coffey, Priscilla Queen of the Desert’s Nick Adams, Nurse Jackie‘s Stephen Wallem, gossip guru Michael Musto, Leslie Jordan and stylist Brad Goreski (above), whose reality series, It’s a Brad, Brad World, debuts tonight.
Now that it’s out there in the blogosphere, they’re gonna have to keep them, right?

6. Eat smarter.
7. Give in and do Dancing With the Stars after all. (God, they’re pushy.)
8. More game nights with pals. (Is there anything better?) Give in and play Eponine in the Les Miz film. (They’ll have to raise the keys, though.)
9. Be gentler with myself and more generous of heart to others.
